This unit specifies competencies required by an Autobody Technician to weld vehicle body
parts. The unit enables the learner to prepare welding materials, level vehicle chassis,
perform arc welding, perform MIG welding, perform TIG welding, perform Spot welding,
carry-out quality control checks and apply safety in welding.
